And yes, all of the images are early versions of Kodachrome. Kodachrome was the only tri-pak* color film at the time, at least at the beginning of the period, capable of being used for such images. Other color processes of the day either produced vastly lower color fidelity and sharpness (the various lenticular processes and color-matrix processes), required three separate exposures (no "instantaneous" images), or special three-shot cameras.

* all three colors being exposed on a single piece of film with different layers responding to different segments of the spectrum
