For those of you living in and around the Bay Area, definitely try to make it over to watch some of the America's Cup sailboat racing on the SF waterfront. I took my 10-yr. old down to the waterfront today to watch. Hugely exciting, and very unusual to be able to watch this caliber of racing so close to shore. The high-tech boats being used in this competition are great fun to watch... VERY fast and they turn on a dime.

The next racing in this series (leading up to the America's Cup Finals in the fall of 2013) will be this November in SF.

I can't recall ever having raced in a helmet; every aspect of this racing is i-n-s-a-n-e. Wild!
