An excellent, small but slow 50 lens?

The rigid version is absolutely ugly in its look. If it were less ugly, I may have bought one.
 
I hate to be blasphemous here, but if you are looking for a small, relatively light, easily packable camera for hi-res landscape photography where speed of operation is not a concern, why not get a medium format folding camera, like an agfa super isolette? Even if those old lenses arent as tack sharp as a brand new leica lens, you still have four times the negative, which would surely make up for it. Alternately, you could get the best of both worlds and shell out for that upcoming Bessa III...
