Yup...Weber 48 IDA's and they sound great...engine is 2017cc...
Not a whole lot of street legal stuff under that hood...had to build a stock "Smog" motor in order to register it every two years...don't need to do that any more...

Good thing an engine swap in a Bug is such a minor procedure. Had to do this a few times myself.

Spring, 1980. I did this. 55mph on a curvy road, hit a spot in the shade that still had ice. The dog
just wandered by to disapprove, and went on his way.
