In case other dynos like me, not visiting DSLRExchange, are rambling around, let me quote their latest big anouncement at the front page:

DSLRX is pleased to announce that we are no longer just talking Dslr's. We have opend up the forum to both digital and analog slr's.

With everything going digital these days, the reality of life is that there are millions if not billions of film cameras out. I for one own a few :) Having said that, this will give DSLRX a great opportunity to welcome chat about film photography as well.

PS:
Take note that enrolling there is a two stages process. First you fill some data, and then you get an email, redirecting you to some place there. But the email is not immediate, it can take a couple of days.

urmm..... that "announcement" has been up for what... 2 years now?
 
It's the dark side of RFF that nobody ever seems to frequent. I joined & posted a topic or two in the Canon forums over a year ago. I need to check back on it soon.

Please do :) There's some pretty experienced SLR shooters there, and we could always use more discussion and some gallery posts to roll through the latest crop faster!
 
It may not be NEW news, but it's good info to have here, and I appreciate Ruben mentioning it. Thanks! :cool:

It was about the time of that announcement that I joined DSLRX, as I do use film SLRs but I hadn't yet used a dSLR then.
