this is my first post on the RFF, after being bitten by the enthousiasm here.
today I got my first film back from my recently purchased CLE. The negatives were scanned by the photoshop on the corner (18MB per image?)
Pictures were taken with my CV 15/4.5 mostly. I like this lens!!!

thanks Joe for the compliment on the picture.
In between I cannot complain about the equipment: I started about a year ago with a M8.2 (after selling kilos of digital Nikon...) and tried several lenses: that's one great point about Leica and it's M-system: these lenses don't loose value, and You can try what suits your photography best. I ended up with the M8.2, this minolta, last week a Leica CL (the meter works!!) and as lenses: the CV 15mm/ the summicron C 40mm and the 90mm from the CL set, together with a 28mm asph 2.8. Now I am finding out which summicron 50mm I like most: until now it is the old rigid type: nice flair, low contrast but very detailed. A good lens for portrait!

The rigid cron is one of my favourites. It looks good on a CL:
(shot by my wife with M6+Summicron-C):
It also works good on it:
Shure you will like it.

Sorry for probably comming out of CLE topic, but just looked at the pics I posted to promote my dearly loved rigid cron and thought I would be wrong not to add some b&w it is best for:
So, rigid cron in black and white:

I just had my first B&W film shot, processing etc will follow. I started with Tmax400, although years ago I worked with tri-x at 1600. Nothing of film has left, therfore starting again, but I really like how the cle works, is designed etc etc. I also made some pictures around the house with the summicron and will be looking forward to comparing it with it's use on the M8.2
here is a picture recently with the CLE and the voigtlander 15mm
