It looks as though the first language of the website writers is not english (although they claim no connection with Durst in Italy) and that there was no attempt at correcting the many mistakes. This does not build confidence in the company, as the target market appears to be the english-speaking US.

I know that De-Vere based digital enlargers have been available from a UK company for some time, so such machines are certainly available and can be very practical in lab and studio settings, but I'd be wary of doing business via such a bizarre and unprofessional website as the Jensen one without bomb-proof customer references.

Years ago there was a process/machine that took digital files and put them onto 35mm slide film, for pre-powerpoint presentations. I wonder whatever happened to that technology.

I actually used to do this in college as an intern job. We had a cone shaped device in front of a computer monitor, took a photo, sent it to processing and came back in slides. They were mounted on Wesmounts. Wesmounts are cool cause you can put a contact sheet 35mm on it, glue a safety pin in the back, and wear it. Dorky, but fun.

There were the film recorders. Polaroid made some. And some are still available on eBay. These "wrote" the file on 35mm film, tranny or sometimes negative stock. The arrival of powerpoint, digital cameras, and laser/LED printers which allowed digital files to be printed on RA-4 paper directly obsoleted these film writers.
