"high-speed, high-precision distance meter"
hehe, this sounds funny
how fast is it,really?

They could have bothered to make higher rez shot of the kid and dog, in order to get proper looking image when they crop it to something corresponding to the longer focal lengths. At 75 and 90mm the image looks terrible, like overmagnified-oversharpened jpeg.

Further...it is also funny that they advertise the availability of f/1.0 lenses while they discontinued the noctilux' production...

The idea is nice, the execution could use some extra man-hours i think. But thanks for the link!

yeah, enjoyed a lot of pics in the gallery. I was shocked by the quality and I guess that those photographers dont generally lurk in forums instead they shoot outside hehe..

my friend starts to consider a digital rangefinder and asked me where to buy a Rd1. I was surprised and thought he was die hard dslr guy and he is strong enough to carry RZ67II whole time. I have to send this link to my friend and see if he falls apart.

I took a photo and got:

"Oops. Did you forget to focus or simply want to see if you could also take blurred photos?"

ROFL. Now where is that damned dSLR...? :bang:

/T

Next time someone who's thinking about their first foray into RF world asks ... 'how do you focus a rangefinder?' ... this is a very practical demonstration!

It's dark, don't let that stop you

I find it interesting that they still quite promote the Nocti ...
