I got this in the mail today, a collapsible Seranar 50mm f1.9 lens. It is in great shape except that there are some black paint flecks floating around between the elements. Would this be easy to disassemble to clean out and perhaps repaint the edges of the lens elements? You can see how reflective the edges are now by looking into the front of the lens obliquely. (a little from the side)
Th only other weird thing is that the aperture numbers and index point is on the bottom of the lens when it is mounted, instead of being visible from the top.

i have been thinking about a collapsible lens to keep the profile down and to squeeze the cam into a smaller bag.
please let us know how it performs compared to the 50/1.8
as to the specks, take a look at my 85 as there is black that has migrated and, so far, has had no effect on my shots.
