Another ebay scam?

Actually I have bought some fantastic stuff on ebay, and the few times that things have gone wrong I have always got my money back with no issues.

On the other hand, I have been shafted three times buying in the RFF classifieds from sellers who were active members. So I prefer to buy from a place where I have solid buyer protection.

I still buy from RFF, but only from someone that I know I can trust.

That's been my experience too. Haven't bought anything here in years since then.

As for leaving feedback, that's kind of hard to do when the so called member removes the classified ad as soon as you send them the money.

Another Ebay scam to watch for. The seller shipped an empty envelope to an address down the street from my address. The item showed as delivered to the correct zip code.
As I was expecting it, when it didn't arrive I tracked down my carrier and he remembered the flimsy envelope, went and retrieved it. Got the money back fairly quickly. Good to know your carrier (and live rurally) for that one...
