Another fine bag from Fogg: B Minor

I waited for my Diva for about 4 months also. These bags are hand made upon received the order and are only made by a couple so it takes time. Very comfortable materials are used to make the bag using natural processes.

The bags are really nice, being specially made for u, but since natural material and process are used, they do age as time passes. The only complaint is that they are expensive.

I like my Fogg bags very much, and hope u will feel the same.
 
I have used a Fogg bea bag for a couple of years now. There is no better bag made by anyone. The materials are absolutely top notch. The stitch work is excellent, and the functionality is brilliant. After receiving my Fogg the search for a bag was over.

Same for me, but the biggest problem is after the first Fogg bag, the next bag will have to be Fogg : )

Actually looking at the physical bag they do not look expensive or like a camera bag so u should be safe unless the robber knows about Fogg, which is far from common, and I agree the only complaint is they are expensive and not every one would like to spend that kind of money. But if u are getting one and use for a long long time comparing to get a few cheaper ones say from Lowepro, maybe they are not really that expensive, considering they are hand made in France.
 
Finally got my Flute from Chiif in Singapore (nice guy to deal with and he is warmly recommended). It is an exquisite piece of workmanship, horribly expensive but many say the same thing about Leicas. Interesting comparing it with my two Billinghams. The Fogg is better constructed but the Billinghams aren't far behind. The older 335 I've had for more than 20 years and other than the canvas fading slightly from too many hot Aussie summers, it is as good as new. I guess that is the thing about paying for quality in the end you end up well in front. I agree with some of the other posters though that after a Fogg everything else does seem downmarket.
 
Hmmmmm I hope my post did not seriously offend some people here. I like Fogg design very much so would like to just post here in case there are people like me who also like the design and would consider buying them. I did not say they are the best, and even in my website article I did mention that they are not everybody bags due to the price. But then there are so many people out there chose Leica over Zeiss or Voigtlander, so I do not really see a big problem here if some people crazy like me decided to go for Fogg. I dun use Leica anyway.

Also Fogg design is unique in its own. U either like it or dun, and I am totally not surprise that many would just being put off by the price, then there will be so many good alternatives out there to suit everyone.

I beg your pardon if someone is unhappy for one reason or another but I did not say Fogg is the best bag that people must consider. : )

I checked out some Fogg bags (along with an assortment of Domke, Billingham, A&A, and other bags) at Lemonsha in the Ginza recently, and IMO they were the best made of the lot. Fogg also happened to have the exact size bag I was looking for (inbetween a Billingham Hadley S and a Billingham Hadley), but I didn't go for it as I was looking for something in black. Enjoy your new bag. I'm sure it will serve you well for many years!

Am having to retire my 30?year old billington after a foolish spin in the washing machine that screwed some of the leather fittings and left the bag with no fasteners on the left side.The Fog bags look similar or better ,not sure if thats what I want though,maybe time for a change of style........Neil😎

Yes no need to apologise Fuwen. I find it much easier to share someones enthusiam for something rather than others negativity. And your original praise for Foggs helped me in my decision to order one. And no I've never owned designer jeans, being a humble plumber I'm more likely to be found in overalls.
 
Most bags advertized as hand made - ain´t really so. I just finished my first camera bag (a shepherd’s satchel) took me a month and a half to make😱, but the saddle stitch will last a lifetime😀.

I like the m-classic bag pretty much (have two of them - got both used). However even when I got mine the new price was much lower than what it is now. The bag is, of course, an updated copy of a very old design. I suppose the high price of many of these fancier bags has to do with the limited production numbers and the fact that many of them are made with "1st world labor" (a French couple, English artisans, Vermont craftsmen) rather than "3rd world labor" (Asian sweatshops).
