I just finished watching "City Of God" (Cidade a Deus) and the photographer in the film (and who narrates the film) is apparently "fictional" (Wilson Rodriguez/s) but I was wondering if it was Nikon gear that he was using near the end of the film.

As usual, they had some nice black electrical tape covering up the brand name but I did note an "F" poking out in a couple scenes.

The film, in and itself, is a good one though and I would recommend it to all (as long as you can handle the violence) :)

This is more a curiosity than anything else - I did note an older rangefinder in there too but the name escapes me right now.

Cheers,
Dave

Just seen the film, very impressing. I don't think, or better don't hope, I'll have shooting oportunities like Buscape had when I visit Bahia this year.

Socke,

Enjoy your time in Bahia !!!
It's a beautiful place to visit - but there are many many favellas surrounding the city - the people, in general, are extremely friendly and nice.

Along similar lines (and not to hijack), but during last night's BSC title game (sorry may be North America only) the tv camera panned the FSU (no...Florida State Univ!) sideline and amongst the crowd of coaches and non-players I could have swore I saw what looked like a Bessa with a neckstrap hanging on one of the coaches or field personnel. It was very brief, but the game was soooo exciting that I spent the next 30 mins. waiting for sideline shots. I never saw it again.

:)

i loved this movie enough to get each camera rocket used. i just need the 135/3.5 and black ftn prism.
