Ok, I've braved it for a second time. This below is one of my favourite photos that I shot on my South Downs Way walk this year. Again with the Canon EOS 3, Ilford HP5+ at 400, Super Multi-Coated Takumar 35mm lens. I didn't develop this roll myself so I'm not sure what it was souped in but probably Ilford ID11 at a guess.

This was shot smack bang in the middle of the day and the sun was virtually overhead hence the very bright appearance of the shot. However, this for me is my favourite and is now hung on my lounge wall printed at 10x8 in a lovely oak frame. Sadly it seems that when being developed some scratch marks were evident, however I have not let these get the better of me! Finally, this looks much better printed than as a scan on a screen anyway enough excuses...

Filter might have brought out the clouds better. Still, a reasonably good picture.

Oops forgot to mention, this was shot with a Hoya 25A red filter -- Ideally I needed a polariser but I didn't have one for a 49mm thread. As I say the sun was right over-head so it did 'wash out' the clouds more than I'd usually allow for. I will return here to shoot this specifically (as opposed to shooting it whilst walking for a week!) Thanks 🙂
