I've just saw two papers that I did not know: Arista II and Inkpress. Specifically Arista II Photograde Lustre and Inkpress Commercial Duo Soft Gloss.

Anyone here has any experiences with either. I'm not worried about thickness as much as color rendition with the available profiles.

I'm particularly interested to hear from people who have used these papers with K3 inks (I have an Epson R3000).

Just a bump to see if anything has changed in a month.

I'll probably order either one of these papers today and then I'll give you guys my thoughts.

Well, if I was choosing a new paper I'd prepare custom profiles for to better assess the colour rendition and the overall effect; canned profiles are at best mediocre, and frequently just plain suck.

So I never ended up ordering either of these papers...just kept using Epson Luster.

However, maybe somebody here used the Arista of late and can share some feedback?

The best paper for black and white I have tried is Ilford Gold Fiber Silk. My favorite for color is Ilford Smooth Gloss. I'm using an Epson R2400. The Gold Fiber Silk is expensive, but the Smooth gloss isn't. Smooth gloss is good for BW too but I like the surface of the fiber silk better, its like an air-dried fiber-base silver print.
