It's very nice but I think it needs one of those black Leica dots to complete it!

It is almost a Hexar! Almost, not quite. The Zeiss is still a too squarish.

It is hard to differentiate "R" from "L" sound in the Japanese language (in fact, most native Japanese cannot pronounce "R" sound properly). But I am sure the author is aware of that and deliberately use "Reica"

Not as square as it might look. Notice from the top view that the back corners are rounded & that the sides are not straight - they kind of bulge out toward the back, giving a rounded feel when you're hold it.

I appreciate the comprehensiveness of this review & the attention to the camera's details with accompanying pictures. He makes some intresting observations . . . for example, dimensions (almost the same as an M3 - same rewind lever as well, BTW) & shutter noise ( lighter body metal provides less muffling of the sound). Regarding the "feel" of the camera, I liked his analogy to the feel of a new car, which at first feels different than your old car. But then you get used to the new car & it feels comfortable as you adjust. He points out that the feel of the ZI is different than the feel of a Leica M - not better or worse, just different.

In the second paragraph, the author praises the camera for being odorless and states that the lack of smell was delightful. Don't buy this camera for that new camera smell.

The black model might feel heavier than the silver one. MORE INFO

Kyle, was that photo of you taken here?

Though black is professional (like my pristine Leica CL and my new Bessa R3A), chrome would be delightful but titanium would be tantalizing.

I believe thats the same place. Its in Cabazon, Ca. There are two large dinosaurs, a brontasaurus (sp?) and a t-rex. Its about a 45 minute drive from my house. A friend and I were bored one Sunday afternoon so we decided to drive down there to take stupid photos like the one in my avatar.
