Another RF lens 13.5cm

This arrived in the post today elements were a bit dusty and what looked like a lot of fungus but I only paid what a lens hood would cost so wasn't that bothered stripped it down a quick clean would rate the optics 95% now!
Its even got its original caps case and hood, its an early black version two but the strange thing is according to Rotoloni the earliest serial for this version should be 266251 its serial is 264860.
All I need to do is find a finder or maybe just get myself a black paint SP.

That little gem was glued to DDD's Leica for at least half a decade. :)

There is a simple adapter to Sony FE mount, for the Contax and Nikon versions, about 20 bucks.
 
interesting, that serial number betters Bob's by almost 1400!

There is no question the 13.5cm has wacky anomolies, I have a lens numbered 276382, it shows all the characteristics of a later example but the infiniti mark is the older style and the lens is chrome! It's in Contax mount, it is possible that NK was still making chrome examples late in production to cater to Contax owners who's cameras were all chrome.

I think Bob should know about this number you have Frazer.

This is a remarkable lens, shamely shadowed by the 105/2.5. I have the same one, with its hood, case and caps too, and got it for the same price as yours it seems.

I'd advise you to get a Nippon Kogaku Varifocal finder. It'll cost you less than a black SP... and the delivered 135 image is very convenient because it's really large (it's a genuine zoom finder, not a basic variframe one).

I thought it was quite interesting, maybe the serial number plate has been changed but it is an early type 2 with only feet no meters seems unlikely.

I was thinking of maybe just picking up a tewe finder they seem quite cheap, I have the 105 as well so can't see me using it very often.

Nikon presumably cloned the Tewe Polyfocus, as the latter effectively is a miniaturized camera-mountable 2:3 framed version of the Tewe directors finder, which they already made before the war.
 
I have the same model - was really surprised how small it is. As to an external finder - consider the Leitz 135 - it's life size image and can be picked up around $100 and is beautifully made
Have fun with it - looks like you got a bargain
