Another RFF giveaway !

Hello Jorge, what a wonderful gift! I do all of my own printing- have been since 1970. All I print is B&W. Once again it really is a nice gift.

ouaa you are so king Jorge as so many people on this great forum !!!
As many, I'm not yet equiped for dark room processing as my flat bathroom is tiny.
But I'm sure the winner will be someone who deserves it, as all of you are so welcoming and tolerant.

By the way, I'm happy for you Remy, it's a great Xmas gift to be with you wife and kid. My girlfriend is away from studying in south of France and this makes life more boring. Maybe that helped this need of coming back to photo and buying on ebay all those gears I did not really needed.

I wish you all a merry Xmas and all the best.

Laurent

24x30, you obviously haven't seen my house. 🙂 It's too tiny for a bathroom darkroom. And the nights... hmmm, I go to bed by 11 pm and get up at 4.45 am. That's about as little sleep as I can handle.

Laurent, I know the feeling: I'm certain I wouldn't have bought at least half of the FED's, Zorkis and lenses if my wife and girl would have been here with me. But they compensate by making me buy clothes and shoes for them when we're together. 🙂

Newbie seeking Freebie! 😉

Newbie seeking Freebie! 😉

Hello people,

well what to say....I am happy with what I have....actually happier than I should be perhaps, most likely a result from spending too much time at Uni printing in their lab and sucking in the fumes. So to fix that I bought myself an old enlarger for a $100 and am set to go...except for trays, tongs and OFCOURSE an easel!

My pride and joy is my Contax IIa, followed by my other camera, a Rollei 35 (OK, perhaps technically not a rangefinder, but I love this camera just the same).

I'm looking forward to doing my own printing at home to avoid those oh so enjoyable moments in the shared darkroom when people decide to move the devloper and fix bath around, pull filter trays out with the light source on..."Hey dont worry I wasnt really going to use that last 20 sheets of paper!" and other misdemeanors that get up my nose....other than the afore mentioned fumes!

Hey I have even managed to tell someone else about this forum...(Hey Dom are you on here yet?)

Anyway, Merry Christmas to all and already I have managed to find some interesting Contax links, cool!

OK well hope Santa leaves me an easel...and look forward ot getting to know some other people on here. Cheers!

Jorge,

What a brilliant giveaway!

Yes I do print my own B&W prints
Yes I do tell others about RFF, even thought my fellow students think I'm mad (He dosen't use a 35mm SLR, oh the horror!)
...but here's the sticking point. In two weeks time I'll be happy with my current darkroom set up. That includes a beautiful 16x20 easel.

So offer it to anyone but me...

Stu 🙂

Thanks Doug!

Thanks Doug!

Thankyou for the welcome...

Yes your right Doug, already I have found some answers to questions that had stumped me in relation the the Contax's....

And I'm glad to see the thread on who uses a TLR....just finished two rolls of AGFA APX100 in my beat up, yet beautiful, Rolleiflex. Still have that addictive mint flavour on my tongue from licking the "end of roll" fasteners.....

Mmmm mint! Man there's AGFA way to success, market an APX100 chewing gum with the exact same flavour and wrapping as the film! 😉
