Was just checking up on some of the sites in my bookmarks list and realized that the lab/store Silvano in Toronto is closing down on February 3. In the meantime they are trying to liquidate as much as possible and there might be a few more rolls of film hanging around as well as some new lomography cameras.

I called in and made a small order of film and picking it up there were not too many rolls left but hopefully other people in Toronto can make best of the situation even though it's more of a temporary gain for a permanent loss.

i tried very hard to get Silvano's on board with providing large orders of try-x as they had it advertised at $3 a roll (120) a little while back.

to say that they were uninterested would be an understatement. i am surprised they lasted as long as they did.

That's too bad. I just started using them and was pleased with their work. The other places I was using would develop and print, but the scanning was up to me (and I never seem to get the time). Silvano had an option to have a decent sized scan done. I guess I'm back to looking for options 🙁
