Well-known
In my "Where to Buy" posting of a few days ago, I asked about New York dealers as opposed to Ruyssian/Ukrainian ones.
I wanted a Kiev-4a, the version without a meter. So I decided to take the plunge and order from Yuri at Fedka. The camera arrived yesterday. It's clean and looks a lot newer than 1978. Looks like a good 'user'.
In my book, that guy is TOPS. In the process, he e-mailed me and said that since the Jupiter-8 lens on the camera had "cleaning marks", he was including a "free" Helios-103. So both lenses came with the camera. That Helios is an f1.8, the fastest Russian lens I have. Both of the lenses have click-stops, the only lenses of Russian origin I have with that feature.
I'm sure I'll be doing business with Yuri again before long!

Glad to hear you had a positive experience!
I've only bought once from Fedka but I remember the shoals of emails that documented the order processing. They're automatically kicked out by his software but I'm sure that kind of communication is comforting to many people, especially first-time buyers.
