Some new informations and confirmations:

"The lens protrudes only a small bit, and doesn't require any extension when switched on - this keeps the camera nice and compact when both on and off. "

"the shutter is barely audible and is much more silent than my Leica M9"

"The electronic view finder is perfect and bright. It matches the optical view finder perfectly. It is possible to project a picture after it has been shot in the view finder and it was quite amazing how well it matched the actual optical picture"

"in some circumstances (low light) the AF would not work well"

"In optical viewfinder, there's no indication if the picture is sharp and indication is only by distance. This is not very practical in real use when shooting wide open."

" The manual focus tracking when twisting the manual focus ring felt a bit sluggish/slow which should be improved to feel 'right'. "

"The shutter lag felt very small. The AF mechanism seemed fast, but like for any AF mechanism if there's low light or low contrast it will err and be slow."

NB: The reviewer doesn't indicate if his tests, made last week-end on a photo show in Japan, have been done on a preproduction camera or on the final camera.
