Hi Folks,

I drove to this address by pure chance: 3506 2nd AVE, Columbus GA.

What a strange place, the guys over there are a bit rough but there is a BUNCH of old cameras there.
I bought a nice Ricoh "35" S (nice after a good cleanup) for very cheap, basically I made the price.
You will need light clothing if you go now because there is no fan no air conditioning inside and it's cooking hot. Also take a flashlight as the lighting inside is very dim.

Good luck

Ah, it is kinda early here and there aren't many posts going on overnight...

Interesting post! Are you from Columbus? Live nearby? Al Patterson lives there and may be able to answer if he has been here. Got any photos? Name of the business?

I should be down that way myself in September so I think I might drop by!

Thanks for the heads up!:)

Hey, just got in from a second day of new therapies at Emory in Atlanta. I finally had time to look at your Flickr photos from Columbus. I loved everything I saw! Especially the thrift store photos... I think I shall plan a day trip to visit that store soon...:)

Are those your children? Very nice of you to share with us.

I wish we had known you were in the area, we could have easily gotten some more RFF'ers to meet up with you. Maybe next trip?

Too bad it not north of Arlanta. I'm spending a few days in the mountains in north GA this week.

I've found some amazing deals in antique and junk shops.
