Any 50mm Elmar M users with the M8?

Alot of good things have been said about this lens. It is a new lens computation, and from what I have read, a stellar performer. My question is how do the M8 owners on this forum like the 50mm Elmar M collapsable?
How does it perform at all f stops with the M8?

It seems like a good buy, either used or new, especially if one favors sharpness over lens speed.

I use the latest Elmar 50 quite frequently with the M8 and like it very much. I am a "Tessar" fan so I am partial to the way it draws. If speed is not needed it is a terrific lens and a very good buy for the money.

In terms of F-stop performance I find it does well across the range. It is especially razor sharp at 5.6 and out, wide open it holds up very well. You won't be disappointed 🙂
