...it could have been a trashed M that someone decided to soop up, right? . i guess it will be a Frankenstein camera forever now.
The lines of this one suggests a Zorki 3 with its slow speed dial removed, its viewfinder reconfigured, plus the back and bottom reformed into something M-like.
It's kind of a shame, the Zorki 3 and the later Zorki 3m are nice handling cameras in their own right.

There are a lot of differences between my Barnack Leicas and this one....

It's a FED 1g (the only one that had a locking shutter-release). The "soup-bowl" release is a dead giveaway. There are numerous other things that say it isn't a Leica...
