About three weeks ago a relative threw out 5 sealed boxes of quick load 4x5 film on me. I was storing it in an empty freezer they had and after a coupe of years they just decided to toss it.
If anyone found in the trash in Greenpoint Brooklyn, please return.
Signed- broken heart.

You should have used it, shoot it or loose it
I do hate when people throw out my stuff assuming I won't need it.

Has said relative offered to replace your film, or give you money to cover it?
Having said that, there's something to be said for storing your own stuff, or at least telling people that your stuff is off limits. Many years ago, my dad decided he would clean out my room while I was at camp, and threw out a bunch of stuff that had sentimental value to me. When I got back and found out, I yelled at him, something I had never done before, and told him in no uncertain terms that he was to never, ever, touch my stuff again. And he never did.
