Any dust removal software for Microtek Artixscan 120tf scanner

Has anyone used a dust removal program with the Microtek Artixscan Scanner?

I been excellent scanning results, but digital ICE never came with the scanner.

I was thinking about trying to use a film cleaner before scanning the negatives.

There is little you can do in terms of automatic dust removal on a 120tf. The problem is that ICE relies on scanning using IR light, and the fact of the matter is the 120tf just can't do IR.

In terms of cleaning, I would recommend an anti-static brush (something like this:
http://www.adorama.com/CPSMB1.html), and using the heal brush in PS.

You might try the Polaroid Dust and Scratch Removal software in post. Look on this site for the link- I posted it a few weeks ago. When in the waybackmachine page, click on the latest of the many dates listed there, which leads to the relevant links. comments about usage are posted by others in that same topic/discussion.
