Hi guys
I was wondering if there are any camera stores in the lower Northern or Central NJ area that sell used rangefinders, lenses etc stuff like that
film base equipment.
I would like to go, look and learn and even try out stuff.

thanks

-----------------------------------------------------------------------After Bergen County Camera, the pickings are thin...Here are some I used to visit as of three or four years ago...Maybe some are gone by now:

Dover Photo Supply, Dover, N.J. [Mark]
Ridgewood Camera Exchange, Ridgewood, N.J. [Stan]
Sun Camera, Fort Lee, N.J. [Jae Kim]
Gene Hacker, Hackensack, N.J. [Dan]
Peter's Camera, Bergenfield, N.J. [Bill]

regards, bob

I can assure you there is nothing in Central New Jersey.

Do yourself a favor, and take the ferry to NYC and go to B+H

P.S. There used to be a guy in your area named Phat Le who ran a big camera store in Mercerville, N.J., I believe, called Le Camera that advertised heavily in Shutterbug...He went out of business after family problems but resurfaced later and may still be around...Someone here may know if he's still around...His last known address, maybe, was Lawrenceville, N.J. --

Bergen Camera is off of exit 168 on the parkway. For where you are in Edison, I believe B&H and Adorama are closer. Depends on whether you want to take your car or not. I wouldn't drive in to either of the New York stores.

I see Phat Le at camera shows, selling his stuff, so he's still active. Maybe do a search for "Le Camera"?

This is nonresponsive to your specific question, but Krimar Photo Shop (krimarphoto.com) on Route 4 in Elmwood Park is a mecca if you're a Rollei person. I went there to pick up a 3.5F he fixed up for me. A hole in the wall, but lots of Rollei TLRs and other Rollei cameras, like the Rollei 35.
