Any flashed you recommend?

Whats a good flash to get? I don't want to spend like $80 on a strobe flash and its hella crappy. So whats a a strobe flash do you guys recommend for my Yashica electro and that'll work good with other cameras also.

It's manily going to be used for Studio and parties.

Yashica Electro is a great camera to use with a flash. No need to worry about sync speeds. Any thyristor equipped flash (Auto mode) will do but do not buy a Vivitar 283 unless you know for sure that it's voltage is normal. My Viv 283 can fry any camera with a hot shoe.

My usual carry around flash is Nikon SB22s. It's cheap, small, powerful enough and can be used with all film cameras I have.

Sunpak 383 is good too. I think they stopped making them, however.
