I'm kind of stuck on eBay, looking for a couple Nikons
one would be an S2 Black Dial
I'm struck by how little is listed, and usuab=lly at a buy it now price, not auction
I look at Keh from time to time, and in RFF classifieds along with shopgoodwill ( haven't seen any Nikon RF)
I've checked yahoo Japan , but I hear stories about endless extra charges
I've bought from Japan Camera Hunter before
I'm just trying to get a decent price in a thin market.
Does anyone have good sites/sources to share ?

The auction site sucks. Try Igor's Camera Exchange (based in Cleveland). He has a nice variety of things and decent prices, even if his descriptions err on the optimistic side some times...

Ebay is still a good place to look,
Sure lots of stuff is listed over and over ,
Tough weeding through it over and over .
You should be able to find a nice nikon s2 black dial with a 5cm f1.4 black nikkor , from a us seller for $450 or a bit more maybe $550 , $650 max.
Even the the s2 needs service 60 years later .so budget for a slow speed shutter service ,or to clean the finder due to rf spot not being bright as it should .
The humidity is very high in Japan so you see items listed that have corrosion
Or other moisture damage .
Try to buy from a state in the us with moderate climate .

When I search for S2, I see 3 items, a canon Sb(S2), Tom Abrahamsson rapid winders, and Amedeo adapters

Ooops... I see you're clearly looking for black dial cameras... I think those are a bit harder to come by.
