Any idea who the photographer is?

When using my iPad, I often browse the online work of well-known photographers. Then, I'll save a few images to look at later. However, this time, I can't remember who the photographer was! I am attaching two photos, from the same photographer.

Any idea who the photographer is?

The first one is by Josef Koudelka I believe.

PS: http://images.google.com/imghp?hl=en you can do a reverse image search by google. Not always 100% accurate, but often times is.

Thank you! Did an extensive Koudelka search and found the first one. (I love his work, but didn't connect this image with him, perhaps because it's a bit more abstract.)

First one:

ALBANIA. 1994. Snow blizzard on the road to Korce. An Albanian braves the weather.

Still not sure who took the second one, though. Any ideas?

Also Koudelka. I found both in Magnum's Koudelka library. The first is described as "ALBANIA. 1994. Snow blizzard on the road to Korce. An Albanian braves the weather."

The second is described as "ROMANIA. Constanta. 1994." I found them both via Google images searches, where you drag the photo you want to see onto the Google page, and it finds similar or identical photos.

I can't provide direct links to the Magnum site, because it delivered them as search results, but "Albania 1994" and "Koudelka pedestrian" searches at the Magnum Koudelka archives delivered them in the search results. I get much different results depending where I start on the Magnum site, and can't always repeat the results from different pages, but they're buried there somewhere! Their file numbers are KOJ1994009W01189/30A and KOJ1994011W01260/06A7C, however.

You can Google for similar images using that sample I believe

I tried it. It's pretty incredible. I wonder how the detection system works.

yes, you can just go to https://www.google.com.tr/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi and click on the little camera symbol in the search bar, upload your picture and look for it online.
