Anyone know if Olympus made any improvements with the user interface for the EP-2 or do we need to wait for an EP-3?

What exactly makes you think there's something wrong with the e-p1/2 user interface?

I think what the OP refers to is that the UI is a bit difficult (or cludgy) to figure out - even to do some simple things.
I keep having problems getting into/out of zoom mode for focusing and other issues.
For reference, I come from Panasonic cameras/DSLR and rangefinders, so I haven't used Oly bodies - maybe that's where the problem lies.
