Any info on this 5cm F1.5 Simlar LTM Lens?

I was lucky enough to find this beauty on the weekend.

I think the body is a Canon S-II, but I can't seem to find much in the way of info on the Simlar 5cm F1.5 lens, made by Tokyo Optical Co. Is it a Sonnar copy or Tessar copy?

I think there is some slight edge separation...

Still, mounted to my Ricoh GXR and stopped down to F4 it's mighty sharp.

At F1.5, results depend too much on my poor focusing skills to make a judgement on. 😱

Also, there's a sync socket on the top plate of the S-II, but it looks kinda like an afterthought.

Any info greatly appreciated!
