Any love for the Minolta 90mm F4? - I have some!

I use the Minolta 90mm F4 on a Leica Monochrom Typ 246 for object shots at home and along my local river in Edinburgh. I love the lens for its degrees of softness and clarity. I haven't tried it for colour, as the Monochrom is not so great at that!

Thanks. It's an M mount. Wish I'd bought one for my IIIf before buying for the Monochrom, as then it could have been used on both cameras. Lesson learned too late!

I suspect we're talking about this one .....M Rokkor f4 ?...... made for the CL? ....the later ones for the CLE were made by Minolta in Japan

I have the Leitz version but 90mm isn't a focal length i use often

Understood. We often see it as a close-up lens, portraits, etc, but I've found it gives an interesting take in landscapes as well, just for a change.

I pretty much just use mine for landscape. a wonderful small inexpensive lens for M rangefinders.
