Any other RF Santas?

Last February I gave my wife some roses, chocolates, other stuff (none of your business) and a Zorki.5 for Valentines Day. So far, she's pulled the trigger on it about 6 times 🙄 but occasionally asks as I'm headed out the door, "Is that MY camera?"

I've got one granddaughter who just might be old enough for her first camera next year, but probably needs to stick with disposables a little longer.

So... besides Santa Torralba & Santa Gandy, anybody else putting an RF under the tree for some blessed soul? :angel:

Not quite, but I kick myself for having missed an opportunity. We don't put gifts under the Christmas tree, but exchange gifts on Sinterklaas (Dec 5th)..

My wife has been asking about a camcorder all year to film the kids, but it had to be 'nothing fancy'.. I ponied up the cash for a Sony; one with an 'easy' button, so I guessed I had things covered. Wrapped it in gift paper, put her name on it and stuffed it in the gift bag..

Of course she doesn't touch it with a ten foot pole.. Heck, she barely gave it a glance! The whole idea behind all this as it turns out, is that I'm the one who'll be doing the filming.. she'll do the watching.. But I rather take photos than shoot video, so it's probably money thrown away..

I kick myself for not having put something RF in that gift bag.. She wouldn't have noticed... I merely would have needed to keep a straight face and maintain that it's a camcorder, but it just needs its batteries charged before it goes anywhere.. :bang:

I don't think there will be any RF's under the tree this year. But I got 3 FSU's on my birthday recently. I got a FED 3B, a FED 2, and the painted olive drab Zorki-6 that I sold to my bro many moons ago. They don't use them much so they gave them to me. Woo hoo! 😀
