Any other scanners get colors right outright?

About a week ago I had the opportunity to play with a Pakon scanner. Despite it's rustic and super simple software interface (and the fact that I had to go pains to use it on my Mac) one thing impressed me more than anything: it got the colors right on negative film!!!

Yes, I love the fact that it's super fast. Yes, I would love to have one. Unfortunately they have become really expensive since last year.

I have a Proscan 7200 which does a lot of things right. I scan RAW with Vuescan and then use Colorperfect and/or manually fix the colors. I do a good job, but it takes time and effort. The Pakon just gets every emulsion perfectly every time (I don't know how it does this, does it read the info of what film is being run through?).

So here is my question: does any other scanner currently in the market does that? As I said, my Proscan 7200 works but I would prefer some level of automation (and a lot less frustration).
