Any RFF members in Philly?

I'll be leaving for Philadelphia on Dec. 27 for a professional conference, and I'll stay until Jan 2 or 3. I'd like to know if there are some RFF member in the area, so we can probably meet and swap anecdotes, brag about shots and down them with some focusing fluid.

Also, I'd like to take a look at camera stores (used and new gear) while I'm there, just for fun... and to shop for a hood for my new Tokina 19-35 lens, arrived today. 🙂

Hi Solares welcome to Philly. Unfortunatley there are not many camera stores here your best bet would be Mid-City Camera at 13th and walnut st. downtown, there is also a Calumet store on Columbus vld in south philly, if you need agfa film try Cbop on chestnut st. between 20th and 19th st. Philadelphia is a great city. Pm me if you have any specific ?s welcome again. HBC

Nwcanonman, I can assure you the Phillie Cheese Steak is in my "to do" list!

I'll be taking color and Scala film this time. Let's see how long it takes me to scan a few shots... in case I get something good. Not the town's fault, but more like mine.

I used to think the same thing until I had one. I wasn't even in Phillie at the time, but in Mt. Laurel, NJ, across the river at "Sal and Joe's Pizzaria".
After the first one, YO mist'a, you'll never laugh at them again - sublime.
