any word re delivery dates?

My Fuji rep said "in August, but no firm date." That was on 17 July. I would guess they might have a firm date by now, but I haven't asked him again :)
 
Nothing... which is a bit ridiculous. I would have thought the US would have a lot of buyers.
 
I wonder how could they deliver the lens in my town (100.000 people in center Italy east coast) on 17th of july in the shop just under my house (Foto De Angelis, but New Old Camera in Milan has it too....) and they didn't do the same to BH or Adorama ..... :eek:
 
I wonder if it has something to do with the US being harder to coordinate since I would imagine a good deal of volume is needed and there are a lot of stores here?
 
I have to admit, I'm frustrated by Fujifilm this time... and yes, I know it is silly. I feel like a kid.

I just took a look at b&h.. They show in stock.. So u locals show be getting your 27 in the mail by the weekend. Adorama is showing inventory as well..
