I have a 135mm f4 Tele-Elmar M-mount that is in quite good condition..
The front element is very clean the blades are cleen. Helicoid focuses smoothly..
BUT at some point in its life it has lost its very last/Rear element!!!!
So beautifully OOF pictures!! Not able to focus!
So has anybody got a spare rear element or have a either badly bashed scratched or otherwise sad example of this lens and would consider either selling what they have or taking what I have to make one good useable Lens????
Or perhaps any other use for this paperweight?
Cheers
Mike.

Since the front element of most older Leica lenses is the one that is usually damaged from cleaning over many years which abrades the soft coating, you are more likely to pick up a complete lens with a very worn front element coating. Just take the back element out and put in your lens.
