I found an ebay link for ultrafine plus 400, been wondering about how it holds up againts kodak tri x? Because it claims: "Processing time is roughly equal to that of Tri-X and other similar quality films."

Anybody try this film before? Any picture is appreciated!

Still looking for a cheaper alternative to kodak tri x, I tried the Arista Premium 400 and found that it is very similar to tri x when scanned. But the ultrafine plus 400 in that link is 10 dollar cheaper than Arista Premium 400.

The link: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Ultrafine-P...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item27acbda6f9

Thanks

Thanks for the link Hans! I have already seen some of the examples on flickr but would like some personal experience from users.

I believe the 125 is Ilford Pan 125 a Cine film that is the same as FP4+ the 100 I got is Agfa APX 100 the 400 is depending on the day HP5+ or APX 400 I have received both. the ISO 100 was APX 100 the last time I got some it even had APX on the edge of the film when developed. I hope this helps.

If this true, I wouldn't want to play film roulette.
