NewToRangefinders
Hi apologies if this is a duplicate. My Mac crahed (gasp) just as I was posting a thread.
I need to send my Voigtländer 40/1.4 in to get it re-assembled. Does anyone have any experience with anyone in South Africa. I recently moved here from Sweden.
thanks
Guy

I think I must have bumped it as it no longer could achieve good focus at f/1.4, then I unsrcrewed the back to see what it looked like inside and of course I can't get it back together.
No idea if V1 or V2. It is the MC version so maybe v2?

Thank you. I did some searches but did not come up with this one. (I had no response from the other places I found).

Guy, if you are still looking for a repair man, try Richard's Camera Repairs in
Park Street, Durbanville, Cape Town (021 975 3527). He is one of the only people that are capable of repairing older manual cameras in South Africa- he did an excellent job repairing my Rolleiflex TLR last year.
There is also an older gentleman in Johannesburg that specializes in Leica repairs PM me if you want his name - I have it on record somewhere.
