Anyone do more than 1gig since firmware update?

There was one report in another thread of not being able to read beyond 1gig on a 2 gig card since the firmware update. Files were unreadable or corrupted in some cases.

Maybe it was the card reader in that case, but it would be nice ot confirm that this actually still works (before I shoot a wedding next week!!). Since Epson claimes not to support over 1 gig, even though 2 gig cards did work before, it makes me nervous....

I believe I used a full 2GB Ridata.... got at least as many as I used to get before (more than 200 raw). Epson reports that after the upgrade we should expect 10% drop in card capacity but I could not verify any such change.

I wasn't able to fully use my 2 GB card (Sandisk Ultra II, formatted in the R-D1) before the upgrade & the upgrade hasn't improved things. Fortunately, it hasn't made anything worse, either. I'm not sure if my problem is w/my card reader (Kingston), the R-D1's purported 1 GB limit, the card, or some combination thereof. I can certainly write more than 1 GB of pix to the card (i.e., they're visible on the R-D1's screen, etc.), but my computer (Mac G5) & reader combination simply can't read beyond the 1st 100 RAW files--the files will appear in the folder, but are invariably corrupted when I try to copy them to a hard drive. FWIW, the PhotoRescue card utility program also can't retrieve the files properly (apparently, there's some sort of "invalid argument" error that prevents the files from transferring intact). However, other devices capable of reading SD cards, such as my Palm PDA, are able to access the files without a problem.

No problem with 2GB Transcend 150x SD cards so far.
Can be filled in with 186 raw and 186 jpeg files when the new raw+jpeg option is turned on
(Macs G3 and G4, OS 9.2, Amtron firewire card reader)

No problem with 2GB no-name brand 150X card. Needle for shot count didn't go as far as pre-upgrade. Shot 1.2GB yesterday, already re-formatted the card after moving everything to PC.
