You get better short-wave radio reception if you attach a flash cord from the dish to your ear. This has to be a camera set designed for people with weak radio reception. I insist on my discovery!

The flash fires out a pattern of alternating light and dark bars to automatically even out exposures.

Otherwise it would be in a closet.
