I have a rather lovely Kodak No3 Brownie, but at the moment can only use it with paper as it's a mere 54 years since 118 film was last produced.

I'd like to have a go at doing wide shots with 120 film, and I reckon I have I have two options that I can see, which is to butcher some 120 spools and work out how to label up a backing paper for it, or to find a 118 spool and backing paper. The latter would involve the least fiddling, but 118 is rare stuff on ebay, and I'd rather not butcher an unopened roll (not sure why, it just seems wrong to open something that's lasted that long unused), so before I start chopping things or paying silly prices on ebay, has anyone here got one hanging around somewhere gathering dust that I could make an offer on?

Thanks,

Adrian

OK, looks as though I shall be raiding the darkroom bin for a 120 backing paper and some spools to measure up against the camera back.

Like I need an excuse to use it...
