Anyone have a line on M8 batteries?

I need about 2 more - the darn thing is only lasting me 200 shots. I appreciate if anyone has a lead on some xtras. I have come up black with my local dealer, B&H, etc.

All M8 batteries have been recalled. Apparently there was a manufacturing defect which causes them to contain electrons with too many red quarks in them. When these electrons make their way into the camera's CCD, they cause a magenta cast in the shadow areas.

Leica will announce a permanent fix shortly. In the meantime, you can attach a red-quark filter to each battery.

Got my spare from my local dealer DrinkWater, Canada today. They should be available everywhere if they are available here, mind you there are a couple of happy M8 users up here too 😀
