My M5s need red dots!
Good news at last, Rover! Now... Frank, when are you making your move?
Rover, is that a 0.72 in silver chrome? Will you go to the meeting with a nice, handsome lens for the doll?

Sounds great, rover!rover said:I have a camera on hold. It will be sent to CT and I will get to meet it next week. By going this route I will get to Handle and try the little doll out before I buy. Should be nice, late production TTL in Mint- condition.

Great!!
I already have the two Summicrons in my little Domke bag waiting to go for a ride. Actually, the bag contains film, lenses, hoods, Lens Pen, meter and camera strap.

Also, a private auction (?!)
Scam - stinks for miles!!!
Photos are probably lifted from some other site....
Too risky for me, I agree.
I don't know about others, but my addiction to Ebay is over. Too many scams, not enough protection, EBay got greedy on the last round of price hikes, and a lot of GOOD sellers are returning their good to the camera shows. For the first time in years I walked into a Nikon RF sitting in an Antique store. I'd like to thank Ebay for chasing that seller away.
I think we still have to see where things settle out Brian. I have talked to 3 shop owners in the past couple weeks and none have any used stock any more. Everything they get goes on ebay. They say it just isn't worth having stuff hanging around in their shop when they know they can move it quickly on the internet. These shops have also all moved strongly towards film processing and digital services. It appears clear where I am that equipment sales is not very profitable for many camera shops. Digicams that are hot sellers are sold at cut rate prices by electronic stores, film camera sales are slow, and large internet competition keeps the prices down for most everything they can have in stock. In fact, my shop in the next town over has opened a little studio in a back room and they are now doing portrait sittings (Mamiya AFD). More diversity, more income streams.
