$175 at full price, and people complain Billinghams are expensive.. what has happened to the price of camera bags - have bag manufacturers just cottoned onto the bag addicts in the market ?

The Crumpler is $140.00. Relative to a number of other mass-market consumer goods, bags do seem expensive.

But the pressing question here is has anyone used one of these? :D

I've got to get an order in to B&H before I go on vacation.

i don't care for crumpler in general...padding seems so overwhelming...thick.
lowe pro are good bags but that one is too traditional for me.
but if you like it then maybe look at the tamrac rally series of bags...very usable and cheaper that the lowepro.

I've been looking at TIMBUK2 messenger....

I've been looking at TIMBUK2 messenger....

Not specifically for camera's, but very reasonably priced in various sizes and look robust in material. Lot of choices.

I had a 6 million for $115 new, but it just sticks out too much (because of all the padding; bulk). Padding is just overrated, and now prefer just enough. What are you shooting with anyway? Filling up a 6 million gets heavy QUICK. If the Lowpro holds the same, that could get heavy as well.

Two CSCs (EOS-M and NEX 5N). Both will be in the bag and I'll be bringing a total of four lenses (two each). This all fits in the 5 Mill, but I can't carry anything else (water bottle, reference book, etc). The carrying weight remains quite reasonable because everything is so light.

I'll take a look at the Domke (though I've never liked them), the Tamrac, and the Timbuk2.

It's not so much the look of the Lowepro as it is the features. It looks like a well thought out bag. But could be big. Which is why it's a pain no one has them in Ottawa.

I had a 7 million dollar bag, it was like carrying a log! I went bag to my
Lowe pro reporter bags I have, I use three of them in different sizes. I like
them go for it, even Timbut2 has a nice camera bag.

Range

The Timbuk2 bag is not bad.

I think I'll take a chance and order the Case Logic Reflexion. This came after looking through all 34 pages of B&H shoulder bags.
