Anyone heard from DAG lately?

I have a lens in being worked on and he hasn't replied to a couple of emails over the last week. Usually hear back from him within a day or so.

He just made a nifty little diopter for me last week. We communicated when he started the project, then I didn't hear from him until it was done a couple of weeks later.


I wouldn't worry too much, he's likely busy.

Wish I could tell ya that's unusual, but.....

Unlike some of us, he can go "off the grid" when he's busy. You'll hear from him or get your lens back, you can bet on it.

This subject has come up every few weeks for as long as I can remember, even before the internet.


Don is alive and your lens is fine. Leave him alone and he miight get some work done.

He just did a Leica M4 for me a week and a half ago. I'm shooting with it today. Been doing my M bodies for years, as everyone says, he does good work.

I'd drop him an email, and if you don't here back in a week, call him, but make it between 10AM and 4PM Wisconsin time, Monday thru Friday. He's good a picking up, and if he doesn't, call him back in an hour or so. Sometimes he's too busy to pick up.
