Anyone here given up 35mm and gone MF only?

I sold my 35mm stuff for MF. Though now I want something in 35mm again, something a little smaller (perhaps a contax t3 for my pocket). But I'm a 6x6 lover, and I have the 'Big Lens' syndrome so, go figure.

I like my MF folders but there is only one place in town that develops MF film. I use only color andI don't want to go to the expense, time, and space of developing on my own.

Eric, if you do it right, DIY developing really isn't that much of an effort. I thoroughly enjoy the simplified process i've created for myself. But oh well, different strokes for different folks.
As for me, I've only recently delved into MF with a 6x7 Bronica, and have come to realize that this format for me can never replace 35mm, but will complement it very nicely. MF gear is simply too heavy and the lenses are too slow, but I would never give up the advantages of a big negative in certain situations.
But on the other hand, I could see myself taking nothing but a 6x6 TLR on a holiday instead of all kinds of 35mm equipment…

same feel here - i've been thinking to drop 35mm film, pick up a mamiya 6/7 kit, leaving digi for small format. i'd probably miss shooting my film leica M - it's just nice in the hands - but the combination of small format digi gear and MF film gear is practically very appealing and most efficient for the amount and type of shooting i do.
