Anyone in need of an I-50 coll?

Before I consider putting it in the classifieds I wanted to see what interest there may be in the little lens.

I had offered 350D_User the lens but they have since disappeared it seems.

With the Kiev packed and ready to send to Mitch in the USA, the Leica IIIc now has a Canon 50/1.8 and I was thinking of putting the 50/2 Summicron Coll onto the Leica Standard. Not quite compact, in fact the summi weighs as much as the standard body only! A summitar/summar would be more preferable, but then I'd end up selling the Canon to pay for such a lens.. I still need to get a job and sort the damned IIIc CLA/RF overhaul! Dammit!!


Either way I'd be stuck with the diddy lil Industar-50 Collapsible. It seems to like the Standard, but I'd prefer to have some Leica glass to match the camera. hmmmm....


So who out there needs such a lens?

Serial number nnnxx and condition may be what you need, fungus the bogey man, sand the abrasive, stiff focus...

Hi Ash,
"In need of" might be too strong, but I'd certainly be interested for use with a FED-2, to make a small-ish camera smaller ! I did used to have a Summar . . but that was decades ago when I ventured in to ltm-Leicadom for half a year.

I expect you will have a fair bit of response here, but even more in the russian RF section ?
