I bought 10 rolls of 35mm film under the York label. York btw is a company that process film here in the U.S. The rolls are 200 & 400 speed, I noticed the box was abit smaller than others so when I opened the box the film cartrage wasn't in a canister but wrapped in a type of foil. The interesting part to me is that the box says: Made in Italy. So who makes film in Italy? Any one know?

As far as I know the only italian company who still makes films is Ferrania . It produces film under different brand/labels (Coop, Esselunga ... these are just like Wal Mart).

I'd be interested to know how it compares
to the inexpensive Fuji and Kodak offerings.

Please report your findings...

Oooooh thats nice. I'm looking foward to using this film. I was pretty impressed with what I saw on there web site.

Bummer. There's a ton of it at the Kroger store across the street from my apartment. Big problem: the charge a fortune for it. If they ever run a special I'll be all over it.

If it is the same as price chopper film (another Upstate NY supermarket chain), this is my favorite film to cross process.

You just never know what colors you'll get, but they are always good.
