anyone knows if the cherry blossoms are now peak in DC?
this weekend april 12 2008?
i wanna go down there to take some photos of the flowers =)

Yes they are, but it's cold and clammy. Hopefully this weekend will give us a break.

Also look up "Meadowlark Gardens" in Virginia.

i was wondering if the flower petals are still intact or has the wind blown most of them away?

i missed it last year because heavy rains washed the flowers off the trees =(

Well, here at work they are just starting to blossom. The forecast in DC is usually wrong. Last saturday was beautiful, forecast was for rain. The only accurate forecasting method here is the "I Witness Weather" report where they stare out the window and tell you what it is doing that minute.

I was there last Sunday and the peak was the day before. It was cold, overcast and drizzly, not very pleasant as in the past when the weather was better. I would still try for this weekend if the weather is better than last weekend.
